Crescendo’s policy is to comply with Connecticut and other laws protecting the confidentiality of personal information. Crescendo does not collect personal information such as credit card or account numbers except to process transactions, and custody of and access to such personal information is limited to those persons who are directly responsible for processing transactions. Crescendo does not collect social security numbers except as necessary to comply with revenue laws and regulations, and access to social security numbers is limited to those persons who are directly responsible for submitting reports to revenue authorities. All physical and electronic records containing personal information, including social security numbers, are held in Crescendo’s locked files or in password-protected computer files. When no longer needed, physical records containing personal information, including social security numbers, are destroyed and electronic records containing personal information, including social security numbers, are erased and made unreadable.
